Just a quick post, pictures from my second day in Liverpool. Kept debating whether to post this or not as i don't really like the photos, but here it is anyway.

I bought this skirt for a few pounds a couple of  years ago in a charity shop, and I still love it, so easy to throw on with a baggy jumper. It is normally ankle length, (think i rolled it up one to many times), but I find this is such an easy length to wear for a casual look.

The colour of this jumper is one of my faves atm, perfect for this sunny spring like weather! Yellow tones are an easy way to brighten up a monotone outfit when a little splash of colour is needed.

Liverpool lounge wear

I've had quite a few city breaks recently, so of course, took the opportunity to take some blog pictures, so i'm a bit backlogged atm. I'm trying to not post them all in one week, so everyone doesn't get sick of the sight of me- if theyre not already.

But anyway, ill cut to the chase. Spent last weekend in Liverpool with my mum for an early Mothers day which was lovely. Filled with lots of wondering, shopping, tapas, and too many cocktails-naturally. Liverpool is deffo my new favorite place, everyone's so friendly compared to London, and there's such fun night life! So this my 'extremely hungover, but must shop' look, above.

I don't normally shop in forever 21, but there is a massive one in Liverpool. We popped in to look at their sports clothes selection, which is always quite good and cheap. However I came out with a whole bundle of outfits, this knitted dress included. I love the colour and the ribbed texture. As it was just a bit too cold for a bare legs, these trousers are the perfect casual alternative.

Will post my other outfit of the day soon

The stripe obsession continues.. but for once in a fitted form, say what?! I actually got both this jumper and skirt in separate Zara sales, but they are the perfect match! I'm all for a matching set, so its extra exciting when I buy items separately and they're patterns or colours are identical or compliment each other perfectly! The fact that they are both knit wear makes me love these pieces even more! However the jumper is rather long, so i think i may cut that, but for now, you cant go wrong with a simple tuck.

I don't know why i continue to buy summer clothes right though winter- these heeled sandals being the prime example, I blame topshop. Anyway, a chunky knit and coat cancels out bare legs or a peep toe right? (yes). Anyway in this case, my skirt is also knitwear, therefore definitely suitable for snowy conditions..

Now to go and put on some socks..

pinstripe heaven

Hello, Happy Christmas! i hope everyone had a lovely two days filled with presents and lots of food. I personally cant even remember what hunger feels like-eyes bigger than stomach. So as i currently resemble a heavily pregnant woman, here's a post from a few days ago.

Pinstripes are one of my biggest obsessions this Autumn/winter, they compliment almost every item, i partially enjoy them in a matching shirt and trouser or suit combo. They work well in a casual outfit to smarten up the look, these slouchy trousers being the perfect example-as always, well done Zara.

I decided to dress these with a simple grey tee to bring out the stripes, as grey and navy are the perfect match. Keeping it simple with lace up boots, black perspex bag and chunky scarf. The perfect casual shopping outfit.

Now i must return to eating and online sale shopping, hope everyone enjoys the last of Christmas.

Camel in Carnaby

Spent the day around Carnaby st yesterday, London is always my favorite place to be near Christmas time. Although i do hate how busy it gets. Went to book flights for a trip next year, however neither that or beginning to Christmas shop (for everyone else other than my wardrobe) happened. But anyway in other news, my Asos camel coat finally arrived! But as always, wishing for it too be longer, why is nothing ever ankle length?! I do still love it though!

I do enjoy a legs out, over sized jumper combo, and this snake skin leather skirt, and chunky jumper are the perfect match. Wearing my long pinstriped h&m shirt underneath for added layers, and to break up the cream and black. I'm avoiding tights this year, so it will be bare legs and lots of layers until i get frost bite or put on a pair of trousers! So lets just all hope that it stops raining and doesn't snow for more than one day this year.
