Just a quick post, pictures from my second day in Liverpool. Kept debating whether to post this or not as i don't really like the photos, but here it is anyway.

I bought this skirt for a few pounds a couple of  years ago in a charity shop, and I still love it, so easy to throw on with a baggy jumper. It is normally ankle length, (think i rolled it up one to many times), but I find this is such an easy length to wear for a casual look.

The colour of this jumper is one of my faves atm, perfect for this sunny spring like weather! Yellow tones are an easy way to brighten up a monotone outfit when a little splash of colour is needed.

Its that time of that year again, LFW! Here is my outfit choice of the day taken on my way to my first show, I was actually super excited, not that you can tell by my bitch face in these pictures, oops. I love seeing runway shows, the atmosphere is always amazing and its so exciting seeing brand new ideas and designs going down the catwalk right in front of you in such a fast paced show.

Anyway I've been dying to wear this hat for ages, I absolutely love the colour! I've always found it quite hard to wear yellow, but its slowly becoming my new fave. I find a splash of yellow is perfect with a dark navy/grey outfit, or as i've worn in this post, camels and whites, to bring a little pop of colour.

I wore with my tan culottes and this cute little tie around dress from ASOS which i've folded up as a top for a simple, slightly sophisticated look. I love the belted detail against the structured shift dress, which worked perfectly to disguise the hem when i folded it up- a simple and easy way to mix up things in your wardrobe.

Now, time for cocktails.

Hello i am back! Been crazily busy the last few weeks finishing off applications, working, and my birthday! Went to a cute sushi bar the other day, so took the opportunity to take a few pictures.

Biggest news since i've been gone.. i've finally got a new pair of trainers (yes that's bigger than passing my driving test, and turning 20) and they are my new obsession. You cant go wrong with a good pair of trainers, over sized shirt and a chunky knit, definitely the best investments for winter this year.

Yes, i have bought another pair of culottes (and I may or may not have another new pair waiting to be blogged...). I just cant help myself around them, baggy over sized and comfy- what more can you ask for? They do go with everything as the perfect statement piece; my favorite ensemble of course the chunky knit or over sized shirt, but you cant go wrong with a fitted top or a pair of chunky heels if your not comfortable with the full on androgynous look.

So, in conclusion, If you don't yet own a pair yet, what are you playing at? these babies will keep you going right through too summer.

First of all apologies for the darkness of the photos, edited right after a long nap- think my eyes were still half asleep (and yes i am a 70 year old woman in a 19 year old's body, afternoon naps are always needed.)

Anyway, took these while i was on my way out to lunch, went to this amazing vegetarian cafe in my town- they do the best omelettes, i'm obsessed with eggs (hence my blog title).

You cant beat a bit of neutral can you? I love a capsule wardrobe of similar shades, everything matches, what can go wrong? This camel fury skirt just arrived and it was love at first sight, the perfect fit and colour. When I wear a full outfit of a similar colour pallet i like to mix up textures together instead- Knit, faux fur and leather work so well together.

Of course wearing my nike pegasus, because they go with EVERYTHING and they never leave my feet. I feel i need to add to my trainer collection or my blogs going to become a Nike promotion page.

Finally, a chunky tartan scarf to add a bit off detail-and i feel weird with a bare neck due to the lack of turtle neck in this jumper..

pinstripe heaven

Hello, Happy Christmas! i hope everyone had a lovely two days filled with presents and lots of food. I personally cant even remember what hunger feels like-eyes bigger than stomach. So as i currently resemble a heavily pregnant woman, here's a post from a few days ago.

Pinstripes are one of my biggest obsessions this Autumn/winter, they compliment almost every item, i partially enjoy them in a matching shirt and trouser or suit combo. They work well in a casual outfit to smarten up the look, these slouchy trousers being the perfect example-as always, well done Zara.

I decided to dress these with a simple grey tee to bring out the stripes, as grey and navy are the perfect match. Keeping it simple with lace up boots, black perspex bag and chunky scarf. The perfect casual shopping outfit.

Now i must return to eating and online sale shopping, hope everyone enjoys the last of Christmas.
