Just a quick post, pictures from my second day in Liverpool. Kept debating whether to post this or not as i don't really like the photos, but here it is anyway.

I bought this skirt for a few pounds a couple of  years ago in a charity shop, and I still love it, so easy to throw on with a baggy jumper. It is normally ankle length, (think i rolled it up one to many times), but I find this is such an easy length to wear for a casual look.

The colour of this jumper is one of my faves atm, perfect for this sunny spring like weather! Yellow tones are an easy way to brighten up a monotone outfit when a little splash of colour is needed.

Liverpool lounge wear

I've had quite a few city breaks recently, so of course, took the opportunity to take some blog pictures, so i'm a bit backlogged atm. I'm trying to not post them all in one week, so everyone doesn't get sick of the sight of me- if theyre not already.

But anyway, ill cut to the chase. Spent last weekend in Liverpool with my mum for an early Mothers day which was lovely. Filled with lots of wondering, shopping, tapas, and too many cocktails-naturally. Liverpool is deffo my new favorite place, everyone's so friendly compared to London, and there's such fun night life! So this my 'extremely hungover, but must shop' look, above.

I don't normally shop in forever 21, but there is a massive one in Liverpool. We popped in to look at their sports clothes selection, which is always quite good and cheap. However I came out with a whole bundle of outfits, this knitted dress included. I love the colour and the ribbed texture. As it was just a bit too cold for a bare legs, these trousers are the perfect casual alternative.

Will post my other outfit of the day soon

Double Denim

Been meaning to do this post for about two weeks now, but i've been super busy and had no broadband at home for ages, but about 50 other blog posts on Double denim later, its finally uploaded.

Took these during a cute spontaneous day in London with my friend, trying to not spend a full day shopping on oxford street as we usually do. Went to art galleries, vintage shopping, and eating.. of course. There is the cutest little Turkish restaurant, called Gem, in Islington which I
would defiantly recommend if you're near by. The menu is chosen by the chef that day, and they give you lots of mini traditional dishes to share. You cant beat a bit of humous and halloumi. We also went to see The curious incident of the dog in the night time at the theatre, which was also amazing!

Anyway, went for an easy double demin look, for a long day walking around London, and of course a pair of cosy nike's, An over load of demin is so on trend right now, and so easy just to through together- you cant go wrong!

Clothes hoarder

Skirt-Zara
Dress jumper- Primark

Rings-Regal rose/Vinatge
Trainers-Nike Pegasus

I have an obsession with going through my mums old clothes (and my dad's occasionally) from when they were younger. Every now and again I find a cute statement piece, which has made its way back into fashion, and therefore into my wardrobe. I love a one off piece that no one else has, which has turned me into such a hoarder and why you'll never find me selling my wardrobe on Depop, ill thank present me one day. Anyway this coat once belonged to my mum, and black coats are always needed. I'd found this in summer, and have been excited to bring it out since then, although i did remember it being slightly longer which was a bit disappointing. Massive ankle length coats are my favorites.

Then of course stripes have to be somewhere in my outfit, this skirt is so cute and cosy, and works so perfectly with a layered slouchy outfit. I bought this Primark jumper as a versatile layer for my winter wardrobe, it is meant to be a low v neck and mid thigh length, not that you can tell from the imagines. I never used to shop in Primark much but this year its upped its game, i'm finding so many classic essential pieces, especially shoes and jumpers. Always worth a look!

Shine bright like a trainer

It's getting cold, but while I wait for my dream winter coat to come back in stock (hurry up Asos),one of last years will have to do. Keeping it casual today, as per, ,for lots of walking around, but the day ended in Spanish food and for once I didn't have sore feet, result! These trainers are my new (very bright, clean) obsession. I loved them as soon as I saw them, even if they were a slightly different colour to what i thought online (mint grey shades rather than camel) Although about 70% of my wardrobe is grey, so it probably worked out for the best.

This top is actually about 3 sizes too big for me, so it looks baggy and over sized, which is always a good thing in my opinion. Would have looked better paired with a big over sized ankle length coat, but oh well, on the wish list for now.
