Liverpool lounge wear

I've had quite a few city breaks recently, so of course, took the opportunity to take some blog pictures, so i'm a bit backlogged atm. I'm trying to not post them all in one week, so everyone doesn't get sick of the sight of me- if theyre not already.

But anyway, ill cut to the chase. Spent last weekend in Liverpool with my mum for an early Mothers day which was lovely. Filled with lots of wondering, shopping, tapas, and too many cocktails-naturally. Liverpool is deffo my new favorite place, everyone's so friendly compared to London, and there's such fun night life! So this my 'extremely hungover, but must shop' look, above.

I don't normally shop in forever 21, but there is a massive one in Liverpool. We popped in to look at their sports clothes selection, which is always quite good and cheap. However I came out with a whole bundle of outfits, this knitted dress included. I love the colour and the ribbed texture. As it was just a bit too cold for a bare legs, these trousers are the perfect casual alternative.

Will post my other outfit of the day soon

Zara vs charity shops

I love a mixture of charity shop and highstreet, especially when i come across jumpers and shoes like these. There's always a few good polo necks in charity shops, but this one caught my eye for its beautiful deep berry shade. Its so thick and warm, perfect for this autumn weather without the need for a coat. My other bargain of the week were these shoes, everything about them i adore! The tread, the colour the pattern,, when i saw them hiding away in the corner in a size 3 i was so happy! (even if they are flats)

Kept the rest of the outfit quite simple, little leather white skirt from Zara, which has had a lot of wear over the summer, but is still going strong through till October. I love the look of  short skirts and over sized knits, just a shame i don't have Alexa Chung's legs.. Added my trusty black shopper bag to keep the look casual, and of course a berry lip, it is Autumn after all.

Ps please excuse my pasty legs, i need a holiday.. or at least a good fake tan.

Hello, I'm back. Have had such a busy week, mostly working sadly, but I finally have some time to do a quick post. Spent last Saturday at Uni open days, and randomly ended up at Hampton court by the evening. so thought i'd do a quick ootd as its such a pretty place.

This combo of big jumpers and baggy bottoms (sounds weird) is my go to at the moment, perfect for this sunny/windy weather. It was especially bright last weekend, which is why i look so pale, as my little camera couldn't handle the light (also because i'm in desperate need of a holiday)

But anyway, this jumper is one of my Autumn favorites. The mustard/olive shade is what drew me to it, as i have nothing else of this colour (apart from my very matchy nail varnish-also from h&m) and I love the slouchy style. Kept the rest of the look quite minimal, not to draw away from the jumper, with classic black culottes, Cambridge satchel, and my Rotary watch which hasn't had an outing in so long. Finally just thought id say, don't normally go in newlook, but went in the other day and got these heeled sandals for £5?! might have to pop into their shoe department more often.

Ps. don't know why my bags open in these pictures, but its really annoying me.

have a good week

Over sized jumper take 2

So its coming up to my favorite weather (sunny but cold enough big jumpers and layers) so i'm making the most of being able to wear peep toe shoes and bare leg before its raining or snowing almost everyday.

So I thought id do a different take on my new favorite Zara jumper, and dress it up a little for the brighter weather with this lightweight pleated midi. I like the contrast between the sheer pastel pink of the skirt and my thick woolly jumper, with added textures of another new favorite of mine, the furry over sided clutch. But keeping it simple with minimal jewellery and layers, as its not quite cold enough to be wearing most of my wardrobe at once.

Hey, just a quick one as i am knackered, spent the day shopping for sofas and decor for our new living room, so keeping it nice and simple. This jumper is the comfiest piece of clothing I have ever bought, Its so soft and warm, I was literally dragging myself out of the sofas by the end of the day. Defiantly going to be a staple in my wardrobe this winter. I just teamed this with all black accessories, including my favorite bowler bag, with its beautiful patch of snake skin pattern. Also wearing a fedora to dress it down, and a berry lip to add a pop of colour.

Now to go sleep, probably in my new Favorite jumper because it is just too comfy.
