I recently took a last minute trip to Rome, to celebrate my 22nd Birthday. I'd been needing a trip all Autumn/Winter, so this was the perfect opportunity. I do have a travel post for Rome coming soon, but of course, I took advantage of the beautiful scenery to take lots of outfit shots.
We were so lucky with the weather, it felt more like autumn than winter, so I could get away with a bit of skin on show (thankfully, because I'd already filled up our case with shoes, so there was no room for more layers).
I actually bought this skirt as a back up Christmas party outfit, but i'm still loving a hint of metallic in my wardrobe this time of year. To make sure metallics aren't to over whelming or tacky, I prefer to keep the rest of my outfit quite simple with little jewellery.
Chenille jumpers are everywhere recently, which is great because they are soooo cosy. So these too are the perfect mix of glam and chill.
